• I have 8 years previous experience as a school board member for Glenbard District 87.  I am running for the 2 YEAR Board Member open position.

• I was one of two pivotal board members in successfully pushing for the expansion of Physical education waivers for student athletes and band members in Glenbard. 

• Married for 28 years

• 21 year Glenbard Resident.  Resident of Lombard for 11 years and Glen Ellyn for 10.

• Mother of 3 children. 

• 2 of my children attended both Glenbard East and Glenbard West High Schools and graduated in 2016.

• My youngest is currently a junior at Glenbard West.

• I have a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Health and Safety and a Master's Degree in Public Health.

• I am employed full time for the General Service Administration as their Occupational Safety and Health Manager.  I also work part time as a Pharmacy Technician at Osco Pharmacy

• I have also worked 6 years for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) as an Instructor for the OSHA Training Institute teaching safety courses to Federal Enforcement Compliance Officers and spent 15 Years with the US Postal Service as an Environmental Specialist and Safety Analyst.

• I spent 10 years on the Village of Lombard's Environmental Concerns Committee

• I was the PTA President for a year at Glenn Westlake Middle School in Lombard and a Girl Scout Junior Troop co-leader.
